Mykonos (Greece)

Arriving at 0745 and leaving at 1330, we only had a very short stay on Mykonos and we would have liked more time.

It seems that the planning for these old Greek Island towns was all done by the same person, make the pathways between the houses as narrow and windy as you can so the tourists get totally lost!!  David was a little bit more cunning this time though, he knew where the sun was in relation to the port and we didn’t loose our directions at all ~ it may have been a bit confused though.

Despite the short time we had, we saw the major sights, the old town, the windmills and of course the towns friendly Pelican ‘Petrous’ who took a fancy to Joan and chased after her.

Off to Istanbul we go.
