Egypt may be a problem?

With only seven days to go the packing has started and it looks like we are going to have to book extra baggage for the plane.  

We have been watching the media closely over the last few days, particularly regarding the current civil unrest in Egypt.  We woke today to hear there have been many killed and injured overnight.  We have three ports of call in Egypt including Cairo, so we are preparing ourselves for the inevitable email telling us that Egypt is off the itinerary.

On a brighter note, when itineraries have changed in the past because of problems in a particular country, there has always been an alternative itinerary slotted in, like an overnight in another location for example.

Joan had her picture taken the other day with the Mars explorer 'Curiosity'.  A blue screen enabled a backdrop of your choice so, In anticipation of Egypt being cancelled, she chose Egypt (determined to get there one way or another).  The only problem was she was wearing blue jeans so managed to have her legs amputated in the process!!
